Bigg Boss OTT 3: Anil Kapoor Shocked As Shivani Kumari Recalls Being Stabbed For Making Videos FilmyMeet

The third season of Bigg Boss OTT is finally here, with Anil Kapoor stepping in as the host. He made a grand entrance and introduced the contestants competing for the trophy this year. The participant list is quite diverse, including well-known actors and influencers. Among the contestants, YouTuber Shivani Kumari was introduced as the third contestant. She shared her journey and the challenges she faced in establishing herself on social media, revealing that people opposed her vlogging to the extent that she was once stabbed for making videos.

Shivani Kumari hails from a village in Uttar Pradesh and creates videos about her life there. On the Bigg Boss OTT 3 stage, Shivani shared that people in her village objected to her videos and often mocked her. They claimed that if Shivani had a brother, he would dissuade her from pursuing this path. Shivani is the youngest of four sisters in her family.

The vlogger further stated that the disappointment among the villagers was so intense that she was once stabbed in the stomach. Despite this, she remained determined and continued filming videos for social media. She also revealed that her mother opposed her choices to the point of leaving for the village’s railway station, refusing to return home because she did not want Shivani to continue vlogging.

Earlier, speaking to Indian Express about her journey, Shivani said, “I didn’t like my mother getting burdened with the responsibility of four daughters. So I wanted to be like a son to her. I started making videos, and when those became popular, the village objected to it. My mother beat me, they boycotted us, wanted to expel me from the village. I was told I brought shame to the village, but I turned a deaf ear. I worked so hard at making videos that people started liking me.”

Apart from Shivani, other confirmed contestants for Bigg Boss OTT 3 include Chandrika Dixit, known as the Vada Pav girl, Sai Ketan Rao, Sana Makbul, Sana Sultan, Armaan Malik, alongside his wives, Payal and Kritika and others. Bigg Boss OTT Season 3 will stream on JioCinema with new episodes daily at 9 pm.
