Munawar Faruqui also took a dig at Vishal Pandey through a series of posts on Instagram.
Munawar Faruqui made headlines earlier this year for lifting the coveted Bigg Boss 17 winner trophy. The association between the show and stand-up comedian-actor continues to date as Munawar was also seen hosting the press conference for Bigg Boss OTT 3. That’s not all. He is following the ongoing Bigg Boss OTT season quite closely. On Thursday evening, Munawar took a dig at Vishal Pandey and Lovekesh Kataria through a series of posts on Instagram. He even indirectly mentioned Elvish Yadav.
Taking a humorous dig at Vishal Pandey, Munawar Faruqui wrote in his first picture, “Vishal’s team should post 1-second reel, I will get HIT too…” FYI, the subtle remark came in view of the slapping incident between Vishal and Armaan Malik. The next slide included a witty comment on Lovekesh Kataria as the comedian wrote, “Kataria ke doston ke naseeb mein chakki peesna hi likha hai kya? (Are Kataria’s friends only destined to be behind bars?)” The sarcastic comment is being perceived by fans as a dig at Elvish Yadav. To give you some background, Elvish was recently summoned by the ED in connection with the snake venom case.
Munawar Faruqui took another potshot at Lovekesh Kataria and Elvish Yadav as he wrote, “Bet lagalo, yeh season Kataria hi jeetega! Bas bet kaunse app pe lagani hai, yeh pata nahi… (I can bet, Kataria will win this season, just don’t know which app to place a bet on).” In another post, the comedian also mocked Vishal Pandey for his “Bhabhi pasand hai” comment about Kritika Malik. The comment was brought to everyone’s attention when Payal Malik appeared in one of the weekend episodes.
In a previous episode, Vishal Pandey, during a conversation with Lovekesh Kataria, said that he was guilty of something. As the vlogger pressed him, Vishal said, “Bhabhi bohot sundar lagte hain. (Sister-in-law is very beautiful.)”
Coming back to Munawar Faruqui, the comedian also grabbed eyeballs for his personal life after he secretly tied the knot with makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala in Mumbai. Making it official a few weeks back, Munawar also posted a few pictures with his wife on Instagram. Work-wise, Munawar is set to make his acting debut with a project titled First Copy.
