Poulomi Das was up for elimination with Munisha Khatwani and Luv Kataria, who had the opportunity to save one, chose the latter.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 introduces interesting twists and turns every passing day. Three contestants have already been eliminated in the first few weeks. Most recently, Poulomi Das was evicted from the show following a mid-week elimination task. But before the elimination, Poulomi had a deep conversation with rapper Naezy regarding her past relationship. While she stated that her partner was quite dominating, Naezy admitted being controlling as well.
Sharing about her past relationship, Poulomi said that the person lives in Italy now. When Naezy asked her the reason for her separation, Poulomi stated, “Usne bola kaam chhod do” (He told me to quit my job).” The rapper replied, saying, if he had been in the man’s place, he might have done the same. He stated that he believes that the ideology is not wanting the partner to work hard. But Poulomi riverted, saying, “Meri khushi thi na. Mujhe kaam karne me khushi milti hai (but I was happy, My work led to happiness).”
Naezy added, “Main apne partner ko kaise rakhta pata hai? Main ussko bolta ke jo kaam araha hai, woh mat karo. Jo kaam hum dono ko samajh ke decide karenge waisa kaam karo (You know how I would have kept my partner? I would tell you, just don’t do whatever work comes your way. Just take up what is better for both of us). Like a cameo or a big brand deal, which is a presentable job. I would have her treated like a princess.” Moreover, he told Poulomi that he would not let her toil relentlessly in the industry and it was ok to be a little choosy.
Poulomi then clarified that the issue was not the kind of work but the fact that she was working in her relationship. She said, “You mean quality work. But he wanted me to leave my job and go there. But the point is I didn’t feel it.”
Naezy tried to show her a different point of view and stated, “You know men think like that. Kitna bhi main soch lu ke auraton ko azaad rakhna hai, kitna bhi main soch lu ke unko unka haq milna chahiye phir bhi ye thought aata hi hai but ye riwaaz hai. Bahut saalon se aisa hota araha hai. Achanak se ek din me nahi badal sakta. There have been females in my life, who I tried to control but hua nahi mujhse ( No Matter how much I try to think that women should be free and get their rights, yet this thought of not letting them do as they wish comes in the way. This has been going on for many years and it won’t change suddenly).”
Poulomi Das was eliminated later. She was up for elimination with Munisha Khatwani and Luv Kataria, who had the opportunity to save one, chose the latter.
