Social media is buzzing with videos and photos capturing the disheartened faces of fans after the makers of Devara: Part 1 canceled the highly anticipated pre-release event featuring Jr NTR in Hyderabad. The disappointment was palpable as fans expressed their frustration online.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Jr NTR, scheduled to attend the event, was advised not to go due to the massive crowd of fans trying to access the auditorium from all directions.The overwhelming turnout made it impossible to hold the event as planned. Filmmaker Trivikram, also a chief guest, had to turn back.

Devara, directed by Siva Koratala, boasts a talented cast including Saif Ali Khan as Bhaira and Janhvi Kapoor as Thangam alongside Jr NTR. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts and N. T. R. Arts, this highly anticipated film is set to release in September 2024 across Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
Devara is set to be released in two parts. In a recent interview, Jr NTR explained that the decision to split the film was not originally intended. However, as they delved deeper into the project during filming, they realized that the story was character-driven, which led to the split.
