Priyanka Chopra Jonas is all set to entertain her fans with the new season of her thriller ‘Citadel.’ The first installment of the series came out in 2023 and it captivated all in no time. With a blend of intrigue, drama, and action, it became one of the most-watched series on OTT. And now it is expected that ‘Citadel Season 2’ will follow the same footsteps.

Headlined by Priyanka Chopra Jonas who will be seen reprising her role as Nadia Sinh, the series also stars Richard Madden as Mason Kane/Kyle Conroy in the lead. Other actors who will be seen playing pivotal roles are – Stanley Tucci, Leslie Manville, Ashleigh Cummings, Roland Møller, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Moira Kelly.
Plot
The makers have ensured to keep the plot of the second season under wraps, to maintain a layer of suspense around the upcoming series. If you are a ‘Citadel’ fan, you know that the first season was left on a cliffhanger and several mysteries – one of which was the true identity of Mason. It is expected that ‘Citadel 2’ will answer the unanswered and shed light on many explored corners like Nadia and Mason’s child.
Also, reports suggest that with season 2, the Citadel spyverse will expand with the release of ‘Citadel: Diana’ on October 10, and ‘Citadel: Honey Bunny’ on November 7. The latter is a Raj & DK directorial, headlined by Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
Release date
As aforementioned the release date has been circled for the two spin-offs; both releasing in a month’s gap. However, the exact release date of ‘Citadel 2’ is yet to be announced. However, if reports are to be believed, then the sequel will be released on Prime Video in 2025.

According to a report by Variety, Joe Russo will be directing all the episodes of ‘Citadel Season 2,’ “AGBO is thrilled to embark on this next phase of the spyverse with Jen, Vernon, and the entire team at Amazon.
