With Coldplay performing in India after almost a decade, there was no doubt that the fans would leave no stone unturned to see their beloved band. As soon as the ticket selling began, every fan made it his mission to book them instantly. With the huge demand and popularity of the band, it was only inevitable that the booking site crashed.
It was not just the site but even the application of BookMyShow that came down.It certainly did leave many fans disappointed, but since the internet is known for its humour, it lead to a meme fest as well.

Some even used hilarious memes and clips to say that they wanted to use the app for booking a movie ticket and not a Coldplay concert but that’s not happening either. Another X account shared a picture of a traffic-jammed road and wrote – “The waiting line at #BookMyShow today”

Meanwhile, considering the love and demand, Coldplay announced an additional date. Mumbaikars can catch the band in action on January 21, 2025, at DY Patil Stadium.
The band is expected to perform several songs from their Album of the Year-nominated Music Of The Spheres and new singles ‘We Pray’ and ‘feelslikeimfallinginlove’ from their upcoming release Moon Music. A few other songs that will be a part of their performance include ‘Yellow’, ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’, ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’, ‘The Scientist’, ‘Clocks’, ‘Fix You’, and ‘Adventure Of A Lifetime’.
Since launching in March 2022, Coldplay’s current tour has sold over 10 million tickets worldwide reportedly. They are going to cover several countries including Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Abu Dhabi, Seoul, and Hong Kong.
