Excitement hit new highs on Tuesday morning when photos from the sets of ‘Superman’ were leaked online. The set pictures gave fans a first full look at David Corenswet in his superhero suit. The 30-year-old actor was spotted on set alongside Edi Gathegi, who is portraying Mister Terrific.

As the shoot progressed, fans were treated to a video of Corenswet in action, shooting a scene amidst wreckage.Donning the iconic suit and cape, for the new James Gunn-directed film, previously titled ‘Superman: Legacy’ and now rebranded simply as ‘Superman’, the actor was seen striking the iconic pose.

Adding to the buzz, fans could not keep calm when the first images of Rachel Brosnahan in costume as Lois Lane also surfaced online. The Emmy-winning actress, known for her role in ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,’ was seen filming a dramatic crash scene with Corenswet. The scene involved Superman assisting the armed forces in the aftermath of a crash, likely involving an airplane.
Brosnahan was seen emerging from the plane with Wendell Pierce, portraying Perry White, the editor-in-chief of the Daily Planet.

Also spotted at the site, was Nicholas Hoult playing the supervillain, Lex Luthor.
Before filming commenced, Brosnahan was seen walking around with a cloak covering her costume. However, the paparazzi on the site clicked away as the actors took off their black robes to commence filming their scenes.
The highly anticipated movie, which promises to bring a fresh and dynamic take on the beloved superhero saga, is slated for release on July 11, 2025.
