Deepika Padukone’s mother shared an update about the actor and her baby daughter’s health to the paparazzi. The actor’s mother and sister were snapped in Mumbai.
Ever since Deepika Padukone announced that she has welcomed a baby girl with her husband Ranveer Singh, the actor has been missing from events and media interactions. The actor is currently busy with her motherly duties and she has taken a step back from the cameras for the time being. While fans wait with bated breath for updates from the actor, her family has recently shared an update about her health.
Padukone’s mother Ujjala and sister Anisha were spotted by the paparazzi outside a restaurant in Mumbai recently. The duo flashed their radiant smiles and posed for the cameras. Anisha was spotted in a black silk co-ord set, while Ujjala was seen in a pink shirt and dark pants. A photographer asked the duo about Padukone’s and her baby’s health. The actor’s mother smiled and nodded her head. She assured the actor and her baby are doing well.

The actor welcomed her first child with Singh on September 8 in Mumbai. The couple has not revealed their child’s name or face to the media as of now. Padukone has been fairly active on her Instagram Stories, re-sharing reels around motherhood and sibling rivalry. Following her delivery, she also changed her Instagram bio. She changed it to reflect the new phase of her life – “Feed. Burp. Sleep. Repeat.”
On the work front, she was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD where she shared the screen with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. The dystopian movie broke records at the box office and emerged as one of her biggest hits. She will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again where she will reunite on screen with Singh. The movie will be released in cinemas around Diwali.
