Deleted scene from Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' go VIRAL on social media; fans react | Hindi Movie News Filmymeet

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal, which hit theaters in December last year, emerged as a massive box office success despite receiving mixed reviews initially. Nearly eight months after its release, the movie, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, continues to be a hot topic of discussion. The latest buzz surrounds a deleted scene that has recently surfaced on social media, capturing everyone’s attention.
In this intense scene, a visibly intoxicated Ranbir Kapoor is seen pouring himself another drink before making his way into the cockpit. He then taps the pilot on the shoulder, signaling him to leave. The next shot shows Ranbir seated in the pilot’s chair, a cigarette hanging from his lips, while his gang looks on in astonishment. The scene is devoid of dialogue and is accompanied by the iconic score of the song “Papa Meri Jaan.”

Since the scene appeared online, many users have questioned why this part was not included in the final cut of the film, suggesting that its inclusion would have made the movie even more impactful.
One user expressed, “Not gonna forgive @imvangasandeep anna for removing this scene in the movie, it’s a pure display of Ranbir showing his silence and agony after k*lling his brother, especially that lifting off at the end.”
Thanks to this deleted scene, fans are eager to see more of what was left out of the final version, with some even calling for a director’s cut of the movie. One comment read, “Would love to see this movie’s director’s cut version,” while another user questioned, “Anna why anna?”

Despite the polarised response to its release, Animal has maintained its status as a blockbuster, continuing to spark interest and debate among fans and critics alike. The film, which revolves around a troubled father-son relationship, showcases Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Rannvijay Singh, who seeks revenge after an assassination attempt on his father.
