In the nostalgic photo, Dharmendra is seen handing over a trophy to Shah Rukh Khan as they both smile for the camera, twinning in navy blue suits.Captioning the post in Hindi, Dharmendra wrote affectionately, “Bete hi hain ye sab” (All are sons), capturing the warmth of their bond.
He continued, “Maalik ka hameesha ehsaanmand hoon (folding hands emoji) iss muqaddar ke liye ….I’ve always been grateful to the Almighty for this destiny).” Reacting to the post, his son Bobby Deol posted red heart emojis.
Fans showered Dharmendra’s post with love and admiration. One wrote, “You’ve said the right thing… All are your sons.” Another fan added, “Wow. Well said. I wish he was your son.” Comments like “Dharam and Shah Rukh, what a lovely combo” and “Two handsome men in one frame” flooded the post, celebrating the duo.
Although Shah Rukh Khan and Dharmendra have never shared the screen in a full film, Dharmendra made a special appearance in the iconic song Deewangi Deewangi from the 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om. The scene remains memorable as it brought together Bollywood’s biggest stars, including the beloved veteran actor and SRK.
