Ajay Devgn and Aamir Khan were recently spotted together at the muhurat of Tera Yaar Hoon Main, a film produced by veteran filmmaker Indra Kumar. The event quickly became the talk of the town, not only due to their presence but also because of the possibility of an Ishq sequel. Ajay and Aamir, who had previously worked together in the 1997 hit Ishq, discussed the fun they had on set and hinted at a possible follow-up to the film. “We should do another one,” Ajay said, to which Aamir enthusiastically agreed, sparking excitement among fans who have long awaited a reunion of the two stars on screen. But there’s an interesting trivia about why Johny Lever made his iconic appearance in the song Mr. Lova Lova, where he is seen dressed in a Shahenshah-inspired get-up. It has an interesting backstory.
Originally, Indra Kumar had written a special role for Amitabh Bachchan, who was supposed to make a dramatic action entry in the film. However, due to scheduling conflicts and other reasons, Bachchan couldn’t be a part of the film. Determined to bring a piece of Bachchan’s iconic presence to the movie, Kumar cast Johny Lever to step in as the superstar’s lookalike. The result was the memorable sequence in Mr. Lova Lova, where Johny appeared as Bachchan’s doppelganger.

On a lighter note, behind the scenes of Ishq, Aamir Khan and Ajay Devgn were known to be pranksters, often pulling the legs of their co-stars Juhi Chawla and Kajol. However, one incident reportedly crossed the line. Aamir’s playful teasing of Juhi Chawla went too far one day, leading Juhi to cry, an incident she later mentioned in interviews. As a result, she refused to come to set the following day, prompting Aamir and Indra Kumar to personally visit her home and apologize. Aamir, though apologetic, was reportedly upset with Juhi afterward, and their interactions on set became noticeably more distant for a while.
Currently, Ajay Devgn is riding high on the success of Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty, while Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha.
