Dimple Kapadia recently expressed her heartfelt gratitude to God for blessing her with many opportunities early in her career. In an interview, she looked back on her life in the film industry, mentioning key moments like working with Rishi Kapoor in ‘Bobby’, her marriage to superstar Rajesh Khanna, and her role in Christopher Nolan’s film ‘Tenet’.
Dimple said that these experiences have been extraordinary, almost larger than life. She also admitted that without God’s guidance, she might have turned into “an arrogant b***h.”
In a recent interview with Vogue India, the actress humorously remarked that the one thing God didn’t bless her with is “a brain.” She joked that perhaps God thought she already had everything, and giving her intelligence too might make her too difficult to handle.
“Everything has been larger than life—my debut with Raj Kapoor, my marriage to Rajesh Khanna, my foray into Hollywood with Christopher Nolan. If He (God) had not taken care of me, I would’ve been one arrogant b***h,” she added.

Dimple started her career at the age of 16 with ‘Bobby’ and married one of the biggest stars of that era, Rajesh Khanna. They have two kids, Twinkle Khanna and Rinki Khanna. The couple later parted ways.
During a 2018 event, the ‘Bobby’ actress opened up about her separation from Rajesh Khanna, highlighting how her daughter Twinkle handled the situation with exceptional maturity. In a video posted by Brut India on Instagram earlier this year, Dimple was asked which family member embodied a motherly presence, and she pointed to Twinkle, acknowledging her as the one who most resembled a mother figure.
While reflecting on Twinkle’s “motherly qualities,” Dimple shared that Twinkle, just 7 or 8 years old at the time, showed remarkable maturity. Dimple described her as an extraordinary child who, instead of being overwhelmed by the situation, concentrated on looking after her and prioritizing her well-being.
