In her post, Emma playfully wrote, “putting this here before my mom tells everyone,” referencing a previous incident where her mother shared news without her permission.
Following the announcement, celebs including Lucas Gage, Lea Michelle, among others took to the comments to congratulate the couple. Lea wrote, “Already planning the bachelorette!!!! So happy for you babe!!”
This engagement follows Emma’s previous long-term relationship with actor Evan Peters. She also had a brief romance with Garrett Hedlund, with whom she shares a son, Rhodes, born in December 2020.
