In an exclusive chat with Fever FM, Emraan Hashmi spilled the beans on his candid responses. The team, it turns out, had quite the dilemma after filming the rapid-fire segment. They huddled together, debating whether they could even air it. But ultimately, they decided to unleash the unfiltered Emraan on the unsuspecting audience.
And why did he unleash the verbal fireworks? It was all about teaching Mahesh Bhatt (affectionately referred to as “Bhatt saab”) a lesson. The veteran filmmaker had been cocky and dismissive, challenging Emraan’s rapid-fire prowess. The actor recalled, “He said that you don’t stand a chance in this rapid fire, said I’ll show you who’s boss, and I just let it rip.”
But the controversy didn’t end there. Emraan’s candid remarks, including comparing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to “plastic,” raised eyebrows and tempers. Yet, he stands by his words. “It was all for the hamper,” he quipped, that it was a playful joust rather than a personal attack.
Even today Emraan remains unapologetically fierce. When asked if time had mellowed him, he scoffed. “I’ll give you even more fierce answers,” he declared. Interviews these days may be sanitised and scripted, but the wild side of Emraan still simmers beneath the surface. “You just have to awaken it,” he teased, “and I will just go for the kill.”
As fans eagerly await his upcoming series “Showtime,” Emraan Hashmi proves that he’s still the same unfiltered, unpredictable force of nature. Whether it’s on-screen or off, he refuses to be tamed. And perhaps that’s precisely why we can’t get enough of him.
