Eva Grover is a popular face on television and the actress is known for being a part of many shows. Did you know that she was married to Aamir Khan’s brother Hyder Ali Khan and has a daughter? In a recent interview, the actress has opened up on her abusive marriage and separation with struggle for the custody of their daughter.
The actress opened up on the marriage in an interview with Coffee Unfiltered podcast.She revealed that they had eloped and gotten married. “I had all the happiness in the world and was doing well professionally, but what I really wanted was a home, a loving husband, and kids. We eloped and got married in just 18 days. My mother didn’t want me to marry him because it was an inter-faith relationship. But by the fourth day, I realized marriage wasn’t what I thought it would be.”
Eva revealed she tried her best to make the marriage work and had a kid as well for it, but it was one of the most abusive marriages. “I tried my best to save my marriage. I even had a child hoping it would make things better, but nothing worked. He wasn’t mature enough for that kind of responsibility,” she said. The marriage lasted for five years.
However, during the phase where she was going through such a tough time, Salman Khan came in support of her. She added that Salman also offered her a spot on ‘Bigg Boss’ and she was told that she would stay inside for a long time if she agrees. However, Eva was unable to focus on her career at that point in time due to struggles in her personal life.
The actress had shared screen space with Salman in ‘Ready‘.
