Actor and filmmaker Arbaaz Khan has expressed concern following the shocking assassination of former Maharashtra MLA and NCP leader Baba Siddique.
Recently, during the promotions of his upcoming film ‘Bandaa Singh Chaudhary,’ Arbaaz Khan shared how the tragic demise of Baba Siddique has shaken the entire family. “We are doing fine but I wouldn’t say we are doing absolutely alright because there is a lot happening in the family.Of course, everyone is worried,” shared Arbaaz.
Despite the emotional turmoil, Arbaaz still managed to go about his campaigning for the film that also stars Arshad Warsi and Meher Vij and hits the theatres on 25th October. “There’s a lot happening, but I have to do what I have to do,” he added.
At a promotional event in Mumbai, Arbaaz said , “Baba Siddique sir was a very close family friend and loved one. We are all affected by this incident, and his death is pretty saddening. It’s very unfortunate, but we are trying to recover from it. It is all just prayers, that’s all we can do.”
The politician, who was a close family friend of the Khans, was shot dead on October 12 in Bandra, Mumbai, allegedly by members of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. The incident has raised serious concerns, particularly as Bishnoi’s gang had earlier targeted Bollywood star Salman Khan. In April 2024, bullets were fired at Salman’s residence, Galaxy Apartments.
Whether the motive was fueled by deep hatred or some other reason, with the police still investigating, Siddique’s assassination still lingers in the air of uncertainty and speculation after a social media post from a gang claiming responsibility.
