A special family montage was played on ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ and fans noticed that Aishwarya Rai as well as Nikhil Nanda were visibly missing.
Amitabh celebrated his 82nd birthday on October 11. Aamir Khan surprised him by participating in the show with his son Junaid Khan on Big B’s special day. They created a special showreel with pictures of Amitabh and a few messages from his family as part of their surprise.
The showreel featured photographs from his and Jaya Bachchan’s wedding, images of their children, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan, and even pictures of their grandchildren, Navya Naveli Nanda, Agastya Nanda, and Aaradhya Bachchan.
Special messages from Abhishek, Agastya, and Navya were also included in the video. But fans noticed that Aishwarya was missing from both the pictures and the video message. The pictures also didn’t include Nikhil Nanda. But there was a picture from Shweta and Nikhil’s wedding that was included in the video. The video montage left Amitabh in tears.
Netizens are questioning Aishwarya’s absence from the montage. Rumours that the actress and Abhishek Bachchan’s marriage has struck a rough patch have led to her exclusion from the pictures.
For a while now, there have been rumours about Aishwarya and Abhishek getting divorced. The couple, who have been together for more than 17 years, raised the possibility of a split after Aishwarya did not pose with the Bachchan family during Anant Ambani’s wedding in July of this year. They did reunite in the wedding hall, but Aishwarya left for a vacation without Abhishek shortly after the nuptials, which added more fuel to the rumours. Abhishek also ‘liked’ a divorce-related post, which fueled speculations.
However, Aishwarya posted a birthday wish for Amitabh on the night that the show aired. Sharing a photo of Amitabh and Aaradhya, she wrote, “Happy Birthday Pa-DadajiGod Bless always✨.”
On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan’s latest film ‘Vettaiyan’ was released at the theatres on October 10. It featured Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier and others in key roles. The film was helmed by TJ Gnanavel.
