Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan’s collaboration has often resulted in memorable films. The 2004 film ‘Lakshya’ was the initial partnership between Farhan Akhtar and Hrithik Roshan, leaving a profound impression on audiences.
Their subsequent collaborations including ‘Luck By Chance’ in 2009 and ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ in 2011 too left an everlasting impression on movie buffs.Their next collaboration has always been the topic of discussion amongst cinephiles as well as industry insiders. Farhan Akhtar has recently shared his thoughts on the much-anticipated collaboration.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Farhan stated that he is hopeful to continue the partnership in the future, however, a right story has to happen. He also went on to add that, he meets Hrithik Roshan very often, and they talk about the collaboration ‘all the time’. He acknowledged that though he is aware of the anticipation, and is equally excited to reunite with Hrithik Roshan, it is important that the right story has to happen.
Farhan Akhtar also hinted that he is hoping that it will happen within a year or two.
When asked about whether a sequel to Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ is on the cards, he added, “We all want the sequel to happen as it’s a loved film.”
On the work front, Farhan Akhtar is set for his next directorial ‘Don 3’.
