Actor Govinda was rushed to Mumbai’s hospital in Juhu after he had an accident triggering his licensed revolver and injuring his leg. The much-loved Bollywood star is now stable following emergency surgery that saw the removal of the bullet.
One of the first ones to visit Govinda at the hospital was ace director and long-time collaborator David Dhawan. Dhawan, who has shared a bond spanning decades with several hit films featuring Govinda, visited the actor in a casual blue t-shirt and was seen giving a thumbs-up to the paparazzi outside the hospital, indicating an improvement in Govinda’s condition.
Veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha also visited Govinda at the hospital. The two stars have shared a strong friendship, and Sinha took a moment to provide an update to the media, assuring fans that Govinda was recovering well and in good hands. Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja and Jackky Bhagnani were also spotted at the hospital to check on the actor’s health condition.
Govinda’s leg was injured as he had mistakenly fired a bullet from his personal gun today. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. According to a statement put up in the audio message by Krishna Hegde, the leader of a popular party, Govinda shared gratitude to all well-wishers who wished him well and that doctors were successful in removing the bullet shot from his leg and now he was just concentrating on recovery.
