Now, Bollywood’s veteran star Gulshan Grover who is known for playing negative characters in several films, recently opened up about the ongoing entourage debate related to Bollywood stars.
During a recent interview with Hindustan Times, Gulshan Grover stated that producers are now unnecessarily highlighting this issue. He also mentioned that actors need a support system around them to perform their best in the filmmaking process.
Grover asserted that whether a star arrives a few hours late or wants to leave at a specific time for any reason, these aspects are simply part of the deal when signing a star. He suggested that anyone complaining about this is outdated and not in touch with the current industry norms.
The 68-year-old added that these expenses should not be surprising, given that producers are aware of the demands big names often have on sets. He explained that nothing is unknown, and expenses are calculated when a star is signed. If a star is known to be late, producers either account for the potential loss of three hours of work or make arrangements to shoot something else until the star arrives.
