Kriti Sanon who was recently seen in Shashanka Chaturvedi’s thriller ‘Do Patti’ with Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh, is now gearing up for her awaited project, ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, directed by Aanand L. Rai.
In ‘Tere Ishk Mein’, Kriti Sanon stars alongside Dhanush, a pairing that has already stirred up excitement among fans. With high expectations surrounding their on-screen chemistry, audiences are eager to see how the two will portray their characters under Aanand L. Rai’s direction.
As per the latest report by News 18, Kriti has already begun preparing for the role, adding to the anticipation around this unique collaboration. According to the report, the shooting Tere Ishk Mein was delayed due to Dhanush’s prior commitments, with shooting now expected to commence in October.
During the conversation with News 18, Director Aanand L. Rai has addressed comparisons with his 2013 romantic drama ‘Raanjhanaa’, which also starred Dhanush. Rai explained that ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ presents a distinct story, though audiences may sense a touch of Raanjhanaa in its feel, energy, and mood. He added that it serves as an expansion rather than an extension, enhancing the emotional depth within a new narrative.
Aanand described ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ as belonging to the same universe as Raanjhanaa, noting that the rage, aggression, and passionate love that marked Raanjhanaa are also present in this film. This shared intensity, he explained, is why he feels ‘Tere Ishk Mein’ originates from the world of ‘Raanjhanaa’.
For the unversed, the film’s announcement was made on the 10th anniversary of ‘Raanjhanaa’. Rai’s teaser hinted at its spirit: “Kundan and this boy are the same, but his mood is to blow up the world! Only for you…Tere Ishk Mein.”
