Dismissing the rumors as “baseless,” Soni clarified to Hindustan Times that he and Neelam have been happily married for 14 years, and there are no issues between them.”Everything is going well, and I didn’t even think of it that way,” he affirmed, apologizing for any disappointment caused by the speculation. “Sorry for the disappointment people, but there’s no trouble in paradise!” Soni reiterated.
Elaborating on his Instagram post, Soni explained that his message was simply an observation on modern relationships. He emphasized that couples may not fit conventional expectations based on looks or wealth. “To a lot of people, money represents security,” he noted.
Samir Soni expressed dismay at what he perceives as increasing materialism and money-mindedness among today’s generation. “Earlier you never spoke like that, but now people just say it on the face ‘I want comfort, this, and that’,” Soni remarked.
Furthermore, Soni remarked on a perceived reversal of trends in the West, where he observed more women openly expressing a desire to be homemakers supported by their spouses. He emphasized the importance of getting to know one another beyond materialistic needs.
“While there is a focus on men becoming richer and women being prettier everywhere, I like the balance in knowing each other and not materialistic things,” he concluded.
