Sean ‘Diddy‘ Combs was arrested at the Park Hyatt Hotel in New York City on sex trafficking and prostitution charges. Though he has pleaded not guilty in Manhattan court, his arrest has affected his close circle of friends and brought to light his long-standing relationships with some of Hollywood’s most popular stars, including Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jennifer Lopez.
Usher has been in tight proximity with Diddy since his teenage days and has been getting some scrutiny over something he said recently about the time he was living with the music producer back in the mid-90s.In a 2016 interview with Howard Stern, Usher said that he moved in with Diddy at age 14 to learn about the lifestyle of the entertainment business. While downplaying his experiences, Usher admitted that he saw things he didn’t understand at the time. “I got a chance to see some things,” he said. Some of Usher’s comments have resurfaced in light of Diddy’s arrest, and what he might have seen, has sparked renewed interest. Attention on Usher grew even stronger when his social media account on X, formerly known as Twitter, was deleted shortly after Diddy’s arrest. Even though Usher insists that his account had been hacked, its timing only fueled speculation.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s connection to Diddy also brought attention to his name. Known for his regular attendance at Diddy’s notorious White Parties, DiCaprio’s name came up pretty often in those wild events. In 2018, in an interview for Vogue’s “73 Questions” Diddy placed DiCaprio on his top invitees list. DiCaprio was seen in a photo taken at a 1998 party where the actor is lounging behind Diddy, oblivious to the scandal surrounding events. Despite the long-time friendship between DiCaprio and Diddy, he has not uttered a word over charges recently filed against the music mogul, making one question whether he truly is not knowledgeable about the scandal.
Jennifer Lopez, who dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001, has been at the center of all media frenzy. During the very high-profile romance, Lopez says she had suspected Diddy of cheating on her, a theme she has addressed in interviews. Though she never caught him, Lopez would often feel uneasy when Diddy disappeared for entire nights claiming to be at a club, she recalls. The two were busted in December 1999 after the couple was arrested following a nightclub shooting in Times Square.

This decision by Campbell to remove pictures of Diddy in the campaign has been regarded as an attempt at disassociation with the controversies being tagged to Diddy.
Ashton Kutcher remains silent regarding the scandal. The two of them have been befriended during his working at MTV. Cutting above his notable pranks-loving characteristic with Diddy, this pair was commonly spotted. Reportedly Kutcher has recently created some distance between him and Diddy after the allegations came into the limelight.
Justin Bieber, who has known Diddy since his teenage years, also hasn’t said a word. Old clips of a young Bieber partying with Diddy surfaced online and people in fandom made some guesswork about their relationship. The Canuck pop sensation is reportedly upset over the allegations but doesn’t want to publicize or make a fuss out of the case, reportedly.
The Kardashian-Jenner family, who were also at Diddy’s 50th birthday bash in 2019 at his $40 million mansion also haven’t said anything. This same property Homeland Security raided during their investigations in regards to Diddy’s alleged involvement in sex trafficking into the country. Kim and Khloe Kardashian along with Kylie Jenner were spotted during the party but have still not made any comments on the current court case.

On several occasions, the two have worked on different projects with each other and, over time, have had a very well-documented friendship that chronicles the timeline of their careers.
