YouTube and podcast host Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, attended the wedding on July 12 and the Mangal Utsav reception on July 15.He recently shared inside details of the grand celebrations during a podcast with Indian-American stand-up comedian Akaash Singh, who was also a guest.
The wedding and post-wedding events took place at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex. The venue was transformed to resemble the ancient city of Varanasi, thanks to creative director Manish Malhotra.
“We were in a magical world,” Akaash Singh recalled. He described how various shops at the wedding were giving away items like bangles and designer sunglasses for free. “Shops were giving away bangles. I heard they were giving away designer sunglasses, like Versace sunglasses. Some of them just gave you stuff. It was crazy,” he added.
Allahbadia inquired if any shops were charging for items. Singh confirmed that there were jewelry stores at the venue where guests could purchase items. “There was a jewelry shop. Obviously, they are not going to give away diamond necklaces,” Singh explained.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant Receive a Grand Welcome in Jamnagar After Their Wedding
After tying the knot in Mumbai last weekend, newlyweds Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant were warmly welcomed in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Wednesday. The couple was greeted with great enthusiasm and hospitality by the locals as they arrived in the town.
One of the videos that touched everyone’s hearts shows women, decked out in traditional sarees, welcoming Radhika by performing aarti and showering her with rose petals. Both Radhika and Anant looked equally happy, and interestingly, the husband-and-wife duo were twinning in pink attire. Radhika kept her look simple in a pink suit, while Anant wore a pink kurta with an ethnic jacket.
Jamnagar holds a special place in the lives of Anant and Radhika as they both grew up there. Earlier in March 2024, the pre-wedding functions were held in Jamnagar. Anant’s grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani, was born in Jamnagar, and it is the town where his grandfather Dhirubhai Ambani and father Mukesh Ambani‘s business had its origins.
