The actor took to social media to dismiss the buzz about her joining Fauji.An entertainment portal recently posted a photo of Mrunal Thakur and Prabhas on Instagram, teasing fans with the caption, “We’re excited to see Prabhas and Mrunal Thakur in Fauji. Stay tuned for the film’s first look on August 17th.”
The actor took to the comments section of the post to refute the report. She commented, “Sorry to be a vibe killer! Buttttt I’m not a part of this film.”
Reports suggest Shraddha Kapoor might join the cast of Fauji opposite Prabhas. The duo previously worked together on the 2019 film Saaho, which did not perform well at the box office.

Details about the plot of Fauji are being kept secret. Director Hanu Raghavapudi recently hinted at an event at NIT Warangal that the film is a period action drama offering a unique perspective on history. The project is currently in production.
Mrunal Thakur’s recent projects include Family Star, which featured Vijay Deverakonda, Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and a cameo by Divyansha Kaushik. The film received a mixed response. She also had a cameo in Kalki 2898 AD, alongside Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. Upcoming, she has Pooja Meri Jaan and a film produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the works.
