After a slow start at the box office, ‘Jigra‘, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, has continued its struggle, collecting just Rs 1.50 crore on Monday. Despite high expectations and Alia’s powerful performance, the film’s earnings have been underwhelming, raising concerns about its overall box office performance.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, the film managed to collect just Rs 1.50 crore on its first Monday.This takes Jigra’s four-day collections to Rs 18.10 crore.
Though ‘Jigra’ currently has no major box office competition until Diwali 2024, when ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ and ‘Singham Again‘ will release, its journey ahead remains tough. The film hasn’t resonated with audiences as expected. However, there’s hope for a turnaround, with the potential for improved collections in the coming weeks.
Jigra faced stiff competition at the box office from ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video‘, starring Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri. Despite Vicky Vidya managing to edge ahead during its opening weekend with collections of Rs 18.80 crore, both films stumbled on their first Monday.
