Reports suggested that post ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Tubelight’, Kabir is set to team up with Salman again for a film titled ‘Babbar Sher‘. The filmmaker is also known to have a great rapport with Katrina Kaif after they’ve worked together on many projects.Hence, as the rumours of Salman and Kabir’s collaboration started doing the rounds, fans started hoping that Katrina should be a part of the film.
However, in an interview recently, the ‘New York’ director has refuted these rumours. He told News18, “These are all conjectures in the market (laughs). There’s no Babbar Sher right now.”
‘Babbar Sher’ has been touted to be Kabir Khan’s most ambitious project so far. After steering clear on these rumours, Kabir has further revealed that he will approach Katrina for any film only if the role is good enough for her. “Katrina is somebody I’ve collaborated with on many films. I would love to work with her again. But it’s all about the script and creating material that’s good enough for me to take to her. Only if I’m excited about it will she be excited about it. Whenever that happens, I would love to reunite with her. There’s absolutely no doubt that if there’s suitable material, we’ll surely work again,” he added.
Khan also was all praise for Kartik Aaryan for the amount of dedication he put into ‘Chandu Champion’. The film was based on the life of Murlikant Petkar who was India’s first Paralympic gold medalist.
