Director Nag Ashwin‘s sci-fi epic film Kalki 2898 AD has set the box office ablaze with its fiery run. The movie which stars Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in lead roles, has already grossed Rs 625 crore worldwide. Despite a 60 percent drop in collections on Monday, the film has managed to maintain its momentum on Tuesday.
According to Sacnilk, Kalki 2898 AD collected Rs 27.85 crore on its sixth day across all languages, with contributions from Telugu (Rs 11.2 crore), Tamil (Rs 1.2 crore), Hindi (Rs 14 crore), Kannada (Rs 0.25 crore), and Malayalam (Rs 1.2 crore).
In India, the film’s net collections stand at Rs 371 crore, with the Telugu-speaking regions being the largest contributors at Rs 193.2 crore. The Hindi circuit follows as the second-largest market, generating Rs 142 crore. Collections from Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam markets stand at Rs 21 crore, Rs 2.4 crore, and Rs 12.4 crore, respectively.
