Kangana Ranaut recalls her 'diva' days when she would threaten producers to halt shoots if her demands weren't met: 'That karma came back to haunt me' | Hindi Movie News Filmymeet

Kangana Ranaut, who is wearing multiple hats as producer, director, and lead actress in her upcoming film Emergency, recently shared insights into her earlier days in the industry. Known for her strong opinions, Kangana opened up about her ‘diva‘ phase, recalling times when she would demand specific hotels from producers, even threatening to halt shooting if her requests weren’t met.
In her interview with Mashable India, Kangana was asked how she feels now that she’s on the other side as a producer. Reflecting on her past behavior, she admitted, “That karma came back to haunt me.” Kangana acknowledged that her experiences as an actress with strict demands have come full circle now that she’s handling production challenges herself.
When questioned about her empathy towards production managers, Kangana emphasized her compassionate nature, stating, “I have always been a very empathetic person. I don’t like people who are fake. I hate fake people. I am the most gentle, soft-hearted, empathetic…” However, she also admitted that she’s had a “reality check” as a producer, dealing with similar demands from the actors in her films.
