Actor-turned-Parliamentarian Kangana Ranaut shared her views on Monday memes in her latest Instagram story. The ‘Tejas‘ actress believes that an ‘obsessive work culture’ should be normalised, and people can’t afford to be bored and lazy because India is not a developed country.
Sharing a video of PM Narendra Modi, where he is speaking about working 24×7 towards building the nation, Kangana wrote on Instagram, “We need to normalise obsessive work culture and stop with waiting for the weekends and complaining about Mondays memes (sic).”
Meanwhile, Kangana has made history as the fourth woman ever elected to the Lok Sabha from Himachal Pradesh and the first who is not from a former royal family. She triumphed over her Congress rival, Vikramaditya Singh, the scion of Rampur state and the current state public works minister, by a margin of 74,755 votes in the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency.
After her big win, Kangana was hit in the face by a woman CISF constable during security check at the Chandigarh airport on Thursday; the ugly fracas breaking out two days after she won from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh.
Reportedly, constable Kulwinder Kaur, who appeared to be upset with Ranaut over her stance on the farmers’ protests, was suspended and an FIR lodged against her, officials said.
On the film work, Kangana is gearing up for the release of her much-awaited directorial ‘Emergency’. It stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
