Maria agreed but mentioned she had a bridal appointment in the morning and offered to send an assistant instead, to which Rani initially agreed. However, Rani would often call Maria to the hotel only to later ask her to do the hairstyling on the shoot location instead. Maria observed that Rani frequently requested changes to her hairstyle, expressing dissatisfaction with the results, which Maria found surprising given her experience with other prominent artists.

Maria also mentioned that Rani eventually requested the company’s hairstylist instead, which left Maria furious. She contrasted this with her experience working with Sushmita Sen, who appreciated her work and often called for her. However, Rani disliked even the way Maria blow-dried or straightened her hair.
Reflecting on this negative experience, Maria shared that she was deeply saddened by Rani’s behavior, especially considering her long career and experience with esteemed actresses like Hema Malini and Sharmila Tagore. She admitted that she cursed Rani, noting that the actress’s film subsequently flopped.
