Kapil Sharma’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil’ show Season 2 kickstarted with Jigra stars Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, andVedang Raina. The episode was packed with numerous revelations and anecdotes, along with some lighthearted teasing as well.
During the show, Kapil Sharma pointed out Vedang Raina’s fondness for Alia Bhatt, but in Jigra, Vedang doesn’t get to romance her; instead, he plays her brother.Kapil asked Raina if he was happy about this arrangement, inquiring, “Kya aapko is baat ki Khushi hai ke aap Alia ke saath kaam kar rahe hai? Ya aapko dukh hai ke kaam toh kar raha hu, lekin bhai bana hu?” (Are you happy working with Alia, or are you sad that you’re playing her brother?)
Vedang quickly responded, “Nai, Khushi hai obviously” (I am happy). Karan Johar then playfully teased Raina by reiterating, “Khushi hai,” which left Vedang speechless and blushing.
Beyond acting, Raina has a deep-rooted passion for music. In the teaser for ‘Jigra’, he gave audiences a glimpse of his musical talent by singing ‘Ek Hazaron Main Meri Behna Hai’. Music has always been an important part of Raina’s life, and he hopes to continue pursuing it alongside his acting career.
The film is directed by Vasan Bala, known for his works like ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ and ‘Monica’, ‘O My Darling’. Alia Bhatt is currently filming her spy thriller Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail, alongside Sharvari. After wrapping up Alpha, she will join her husband Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’.
