Malaika Arora’s father passed away Anil Kuldeep Mehta passed away on September 11 and the reason for the death is allegedly suicide. At the time of this incident, Malaika was in Pune and she rushed to Mumbai as soon as she heard the news. As per a report in IANS, Anil had called both his daughters, Malaika and Amrita and told them, “I’m sick and tired,” before he passed away.
The police has said that he jumped off his balcony from the 6th floor at the Ayesha Manor building in Bandra.His last rites have begun at the Santacruz Hindu crematorium as the family and their friends have reached there.
Malaika was seen arriving with her mom who couldn’t control her tears. Meanwhile, Malaika’s son Arhaan was also seen consoling them all. Malaika and Amrita’s BFF’s Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan also attended the funeral.
First Saif was seen reaching the crematorium with Karisma. Kareena soon came after them in another car.

Other celebs who arrived for the funeral include Malaika’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan who came in with his wife Sshura Khan. Arjun Kapoor was also seen by Malaika’s side. Meanwhile, Shibani Dandekar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Sohail Khan among others were seen arriving to pay their last respects.
According to a report in News18, the post mortem report of Anil Mehta states that he passed away due to multiple injuries.
