Khel Khel Mein Box Office Day 14: Akshay Kumar starrer crosses 25 crore mark | Hindi Movie News Filmymeet

Akshay Kumar‘s box office struggle continues, with OMG 2 and Sooryavanshi being his only recent successes. His latest release, Khel Khel Mein, is performing decently, despite strong competition from Stree 2, but his overall streak remains challenging.

With Khel Khel Mein, Akshay was supported by the stellar cast of Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.The film earned Rs 19.35 crore in the first week, on second Friday it earned Rs 70 lakh, while Saturday was Rs 1.35 crore and Sunday was Rs 1.75 crore. On Monday and Tuesday the film stayed steady with Rs 85 lakh and 80 lakh respectively, with Wednesday witnessing a small dip to collect Rs 65 lakh, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the total collection of the film to beyond Rs 25 crore. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 25.45 crore.
Besides Stree 2, Khel Khel Mein can see competition from Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency which is releasing on September 6th, till then the film can expect a pretty steady ride at the box office and aim to cross Rs 30 crore mark . Akshay has a very interesting slate of films lined up, from Sky Force to Singham Again on Diwali to Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3 and The Untold Story of C Sankaran Nair next year . He also has reportedly joined hands with Siddharth Anand for his next, being directed by Milan Luthria.

Akshay’s Sky Force was supposed to release on 2nd October, but the word on the street is that the film has been postponed for next year now. It’s teaser was supposed to be attached to Stree 2, but it is being reported that the film is not complete as of now.
