Khel Khel Mein Box Office Day 21: Akshay Kumar starrer adds another Rs 50 lakh to its collection | Hindi Movie News Filmymeet

Amid a series of underwhelming films in Akshay Kumar’s post-pandemic run, his latest release, Khel Khel Mein, is displaying resilience at the box office, holding its own against the Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao-led Stree 2 as the third week comes to an end. The film till now, has crossed the Rs 30 crore mark, and is hoping to cross Rs 35 crore mark rather easily thanks to postponement of Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency from its 6th September theatrical release.

On the third Friday, the film earned Rs 65 lakh, with Saturday collections jumping to Rs 1.1 crore, and on Sunday, the collections reached Rs 1.35 crore, with Monday numbers dropping to Rs 55 lakh, and staying steady on Tuesday with Rs 56 lakh, and Wednesday numbers hitting Rs 52 lakh, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the overall collection to Rs 30.88 crore.
Akshay Kumar’s next release, Sky Force, originally set for an October 2nd release, has now been postponed to early next year. He will next appear in Singham Again during Diwali. Additionally, his upcoming projects include Welcome to the Jungle, Jolly LLB 3, and The Untold Story of C. Sankaran Nair. Reports also suggest he has teamed up with Siddharth Anand for a film directed by Milan Luthria
Khel Khel Mein is directed by Mudassar Aziz, and has a stellar cast of Fardeen Khan, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal.
