The film in its first week, earned Rs 11.1 crore and in the second week, it added another Rs 6.78 crore. In its third week, it added another Rs 3.8 crore. It was in the fourth week, that the film began to lose steam in a big way and its collection dropped majorly. Over the fourth weekend, it added just Rs 1.1 crore, and on Monday, the collection dropped by 76 % to earn just Rs 12 lakhs and on Tuesday, the collection jumped to Rs 15 lakh. On Tuesday, usually most cinema halls offer discounts and offers to pull in audiences, and the jump can be attributed to that. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 23.08 crore. It seems the flick will run in theatres till Independence Day, and will be expecting to reach the Rs 25 crore mark.
A Hollywood remake of Kill is in pipeline, with rights for it being bought by John Wick’s director Chad Stahelski’s company. Kill is a story of one night’s train journey about a NSG Captain Amrit Rathod, who takes on a group of goons headed by Raghav Juyal trying to loot passengers. One of the passengers is Amrit’s love interest Tullika played by Tanya Maniktala.
Raghav will next be seen in web show Gyrah Gyrah backed by same producers as Kill. On the other hand, Lakshya will also be seen in a web show which is backed by Shah Rukh Khan and is his son Aryan’s debut as a director and showrunner.
