Lakshya Lalwani’s ‘Kill’ Journey: Shelved KJo Movies, Partying With SRK & Vibing With Raghav Juyal
The film in its first week, earned Rs 11.1 crore, and in the second week it added another Rs 6.78 crore. In its third week, it added another Rs 3,8 crore, taking the total collection to Rs 21.7 crore. On its fourth Friday, feeling the heat from Hollywood giant Deadpool & Wolverine, the film managed to earn just Rs 18 lakhs, thus taking the total collection of the film to Rs 21.89 crore. Kill’s collection in the third week got affected by the good response Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk and Tripti Dimri’s Bad Newz generated.
A Hollywood remake of Kill is in pipeline, with rights for it being bought by John Wick’s director Chad Stahelski’s company. Kill is a story of one night’s train journey about a NSG Captain Amrit Rathod, who takes on a group of goons headed by Raghav Juyal trying to loot passengers. One of the passengers is Amrit’s love interest Tullika played by Tanya Maniktala.
Raghav will be next seen in a web show called Gyaara Gyaara, backed by the producer of Kill, while Lakshaya is also gearing up for a web show with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, called ‘Stardom’.
