The film in its first week, earned Rs 11.1 crore, and for the first time, its collection dropped below Rs 1 crore.On Friday, the film earned just Rs 80 lakhs, but on Saturday, it saw a massive jump of over 60 % to collect Rs 1.3 crores, as per early estimates by Sacnilk, thus taking the total collection of the film to Rs 13.20 crore. The collection is expected to rise even more on Sunday, and the film has full potential to earn Rs 20 crore at the box office, by the time it ends its theatrical run.
The film is a story of one night’s train journey about a NSG Captain Amrit Rathod, who takes on a group of goons headed by Raghav Juyal, trying to loot passengers. One of the passengers is Amrit’s love interest Tulika played by Taniya Maniktala.
John Wick’s director Chad Stahelski’s company has picked up the Hollywood rights for the film. The film has released in the UNited States of America on 1000 screens and as per Box Office Mojo, it has till now minted US $ 908,226 ( Rs 7.5 crore).
Now, talks are on for the second installment of the film.
