Lakshya reflected on his transition from starring in Sony TV’s grand show Porus. He pondered what more he could achieve on television and decided to venture into films to explore his potential further.Despite his role in Dostana 2 not materializing as expected, he believes everything happens for the best, as his mom often says.

He went on to mention that his producers, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta, consistently supported him throughout the process. Despite the outcome with Dostana 2, they encouraged him to be patient and wait for the right opportunities. Lakshya felt reassured by their backing, especially coming from such influential figures in the industry like Karan Johar.

During that period, uncertainty weighed heavily on Lakshya, compounded by the extended wait without having a backup plan in place.

After wrapping up Porus, Lakshya, with his long braids, arrived at Dharma Productions’ office well ahead of time, wary of possible delays due to the rain. He engaged in an extensive discussion with Karan Johar, which lasted over an hour. This interaction led to a callback for auditions, spanning 6-7 months.
