Over five years after the end of ‘Game of Thrones’, Kit Harington is reflecting on the backlash the 8th and final season received. Acknowledging that the team made mistakes, he agreed with fans that the ending was “rushed.”
In a recent interview with British GQ, the actor, known for his role as Jon Snow, expressed understanding of the audience’s disappointment. During the conversation, Kit said that he agreed with people thinking it was rushed was one of the only faults of the finale was that they were all so ‘tired’ that they couldn’t have gone on any longer.Admitting that he couldn’t think of any alternative, he shared that when looking back at photos of himself during the final season, he looked ‘exhausted and spent’.
Kit also acknowledged the negative reactions from fans, stating that everyone is entitled to their opinions and noted that some of the creative choices didn’t quite work as intended.
