Tishaa Kumar, the daughter of actor-producer Krishan Kumar of T-Series and niece of Bhushan Kumar, breathed her last on Thursday, July 18. She was 21. Her last rites, which were supposed to be conducted today, have been pushed to tomorrow, due to incessant rain in the capital. Her family released a statement, saying,
“Dear Friends and Family,
It is with profound sadness that we inform you the passing of our beloved Tishaa Kumar, cherished daughter of Krishan Kumar and Tanya Kumar, on July 18th, 2024.Due to bad weather in Mumbai the flight is diverted to Ahmedabad causing delay in landing in Mumbai, hence we have to unfortunately perform the last rites tomorrow.

According to reports, Tishaa Kumar had been suffering from cancer for several years. She was undergoing treatment in Germany, where she ultimately passed away.
“Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness. This is difficult time for the family, and we kindly request that family’s privacy is respected.” said, T-Series Spokesperson.
Krishan Kumar Dua is best known for his role in ‘Bewafa Sanam’ (1995), and has co-produced several films ‘Lucky: No Time For Love’, ‘Ready’, ‘Darling’, ‘Airlift’ and ‘Satyamev Jayate’ among others.

Tishaa Kumar was born on September 6, 2003, to Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh, the daughter of composer Ajit Singh and sister of actress Nattasha Singh. She made her last public appearances was on November 30, 2023, at the premiere of the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Animal’.
