Actors Madhuri Dixit and the ‘Animal’ star Triptii Dimri are reportedly set to collaborate in a new dramedy helmed by Suresh Triveni. According to a report by Midday, the film will feature the two actresses as a mother-daughter pair.
According to the report, the male lead for Triveni’s dramedy has yet to be finalized, but the film is expected to begin shooting in the summer of 2024.Although details about the untitled film remain under wraps, the reports suggest that the untitled project is expected to blend drama, action, and thrills. An official confirmation about the said report is awaited.
On the other hand, Triptii’s recent outing Bad Newz failed to impress the audiences and resulted in its under performance at the box office. Even after the OTT release, the movie received criticisms.
As Madhuri Dixit is reportedly set to take on another significant role in this exciting new venture alongside Triptii Dimri, known for her stellar performances in ‘Bulbbul’ and ‘Qala’, the expectations are high for the upcoming Suresh Triveni’s directorial. The director is best known for hits like Tumhari ‘Sulu’ and ‘Jalsa’.
Moreover, Triptii will be seen alongside Kartik Aaryan in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3′, the film will also star Vidya Balan and it was also reported that Madhuri Dixit is also a part of the movie. In addition, the ‘Animal’ fame is set to share the screen space with ‘Stree’ star Rajkummar Rao in ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’. The Raaj Shaandilyaa directorial is set to release on October 11 this year.
