It has now been revealed that the cremation will take place at the Hindu crematorium in Santa Cruz tomorrow (September 12) at 11 a.m.
The Arora family released an official statement regarding this devastating event a few hours ago. In a deeply emotional post on Instagram, Malaika Arora shared a monochrome note to express her profound sorrow. The note featured a black-and-white photograph of her late father and read:
“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our dear father, Anil Mehta. He was a gentle soul, a devoted grandfather, a loving husband, and our best friend. Our family is in deep shock from this loss, and we kindly request privacy from the media and well-wishers during this difficult time.”
Malaika also emphasized the need for privacy during this challenging period, stating, “We appreciate your understanding, support, and respect. With gratitude, Joyce, Malaika, Amrita, Shakeel, Arhaan, Azaan, Rayyan, Casper, Axl, Duffy & Buddy – Anil Kuldip Mehta 22/02/1962-11/09/2024.”
In the midst of their grief, Malaika Arora’s ex-husband, Arbaaz Khan, was seen arriving at the family home to offer support, as captured in a video shared by ANI.
