On Thursday, actor Mandira Bedi honoured the memory of her late husband, Raj Kaushal, on what would have been his birthday. Reflecting on cherished moments, she shared how deeply she misses him and holds him close in her thoughts.
The actress took to Instagram to post a heartfelt tribute to Raj on his birth anniversary. She shared a touching montage video featuring cherished photographs of them together.

“Happy Birthday Raji.. it’s been more than 3 years since you left us. (broken heart emoji) and we think of you and miss you every day.. But on your birthday, we think of you a little bit more and celebrate you a little bit more,” she wrote with the video.

Mandira added, “And the MANY things that made up the wonderful you, that you were (heart emoji): your selflessness, your contagious energy, your kindness, your booming voice, your big, huge, loving Heart.. (heart emojis) We think of you fondly and miss you sorely as we celebrate you today on the day that you were born”.

In a recent interview, Mandira Bedi shared that her grief for her late husband Raj will be a lifelong journey. She spoke about how certain songs evoke memories of him and acknowledged her ongoing process of therapy. Despite the emotional challenges, Mandira emphasized her commitment to supporting her family and herself, noting that she resumed work just two months after Raj’s passing for the sake of her children.
Raj Kaushal was a filmmaker known for directing films such as Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ke Laddoo. He married Mandira Bedi in 1999, and they had their first child, son Vir, in 2011. In 2020, they adopted their daughter, Tara, who was four years old at the time. Raj passed away from a heart attack on June 30, 2021.
