While there was speculation that the actor would participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, recently the actor recalled why it did not materialize. Moshin also discussed if there was a possibility of appearing on this stunt-based reality show in the future.
Mohsin Khan rose to fame with his successful stint on the daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Post the show, he has worked on several music videos and web series, but his fans are eager to see him on television once again. While there was speculation that the actor would participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, recently, the actor recalled why it did not materialise. Moshin also discussed if there is a possibility of him appearing on this stunt-based reality show in the future.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Mohsin Khan revealed, “Khatron ke meeting mein gaya tha main. I did go there and soch raha tha ki kar sakta hun main shayad, but raat ko fir mujhe sapne aaye ki main lift mein atak gaya hoon. Aur woh lift band hogayi hai aur neeche gir gayi hai (I attended a meeting of Khatron. I went there and thought I might be able to achieve it, but that night I had a dream about getting caught in a lift. And the lift malfunctioned and fell down).”
Mohsin added that he immediately woke up with a jolt due to that dream and later decided to say no to the makers. However, keeping his mind open about participating in the stunt based show, he said he can think of it “Maybe next year.” He claimed that the producers were eager to have him as a contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, but that terrifying dream changed his mind.
Mohsin Khan was initially recognised for his role in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins. However, his role of Kartik Goenka in the popular television series Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai propelled him to stardom. He was part of the show from 2016 to 2021 and won praises for his chemistry with his co-star Shivangi Joshi.
Most recently, Mohsin was seen in the web series Jab Mila Tu alongside Eisha Singh. Jab Mila Tu revolves around Maddy (Mohsin Khan), a famous singer, and Aneri (Eisha Singh), a passionate chef, who are forced to live together due to an unfortunate situation. Jab Mila Tu was directed by Lalit Mohan, written by Nisheeth Neelkanth and Harjeet Chhabra, and produced by Two Nice Men.
