Mrunal Thakur shared BTS pictures of her look from 2024 IIFA Utsavam Awards.
Mrunal Thakur turned heads at the 2024 IIFA Utsavam Awards in a yellow couture gown. Fans took to the comments to gush about how stunning she looked at the event.
All eyes are on Abu Dhabi as the city is all geared up for the 2024 IIFA Awards. The event kickstarted yesterday at Yas Island with the IIFA Utsavam Green Carpet and the IIFA Utsavam Awards which honoured the best in the South Indian film industry. The event was attended by some of the biggest names in South Indian cinema. Among them, Mrunal Thakur turned heads as she made a fashion statement in a dazzling yellow gown.
Styled by Tanishq Malhotra, Mrunal Thakur wore a yellow couture gown by designer Gaurav Gupta. The dress had dramatic sleeves and an off-the-shoulder neckline which accentuated her collarbones. While the sleeves did most of the talking, the bodice of the dress was fitted and was adorned with sequins all across its length. The actor paired the dress with bold earrings and rings. She finished off her look with subtle makeup and wavy hair. Sharing the picture, she wrote, “IIFA UTSAVAM 2024.”

The pictures have got fans swooning over her look at the 2024 IIFA Awards. Recently, the actor spoke in defense of Ranbir Kapoor at the event. She was asked about his character in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal. Speaking to the media, Thakur said, “Let’s not forget that Ranbir is also the actor who played Barfi. Why can’t we celebrate the diversity in his films and the fact that he can play both Barfi and Animal so well.”
On the work front, Thakur was last seen in The Family Star where she shared the screen with Vijay Deverakonda. She was also seen in Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD where she appeared in a special appearance role.
The 2024 IIFA Awards will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar on Saturday. The event will conclude on September 29.
