Malaika and Amrita Arora’s father, Anil Arora, passed away on Wednesday, September 11. Mumbai police was seen at their Bandra residence and ANI reported that it was suspected death by suicide case. Providing an update in the matter, DCP Crime Branch, Raj Tilak Roshan stated, “Body of one Anil Arora (62) was found. He resided on the 6th floor. We are carrying out further investigation and our team is here.We are investigating all angles in detail.”

“Our teams are here, forensic teams are here as well…Body is being taken for postmortem. We are investigating everything in detail…Prima facie it seems to be suicide, we are conducting further investigation,” he further updated. Malaika Arora’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan was the first to reach the spot after the news was reported. Malaika Arora was reportedly travelling and soon after she arrived at her parents’ residence in Bandra, her sister Amrita Arora and husband Shakeel Ladak were also seen arriving.

Salim Khan, Salma Khan, Sohail Khan, Nirvaan Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Seema Sajdeh, Bunty Sajdeh and Riteish Sidhwani among others were seen arriving at Anil Mehta’s Ayesha Manor residence. Arbaaz and Malaika’s son Arhaan was also seen at the building. Malaika Arora’s rumoured boyfriend Arjun Kapoor was also spotted arriving at the Bandra building. The cops have been extensively filing the panchnama and it is being reported that this tragic incident took place at 9am today. According to reports, the postmortem will take place at Baba Hospital and the family is expected to issue and official statement in the matter soon.
