Bigg Boss 17 winner and comedian Munawar Faruqui continues to make headlines with his outspoken remarks on controversial subjects and the latest Bigg Boss contestants. The comedian, who has been vocal about the current season of Bigg Boss OTT 3, recently took a jab at Adnaan Shaikh for his unexpected elimination from the show. In a recent Instagram post, Munawar Faruqui took a swipe at Adnaan Shaikh’s elimination by joking, “Adnaan 07 days ke liye aaya tha,” referring to Faisal Shaikh’s group 07. Faruqui then turned his attention to Lovekesh Kataria, humorously dubbing him ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and noting, “Kataria is my favorite from all the contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi.” This came after Lovekesh injured his nose in a recent episode while swimming. Faruqui showcased his wit with the caption, “Thala for reason! Khala for season!”
Upon being shared, Munawar Faruqui’s post immediately prompted reactions from Suyyash Rai and Adnaan Shaikh himself. While Suyyash wrote, “No reham,” Adnaan posted a bunch of laughing emojis in the comment section.
Ever since lifting the coveted Bigg Boss 17 winner trophy, Munawar Faruqui has been in the news for several reasons. Further, his association with the show continues to date. The comedian hosted the press conference for Bigg Boss OTT 3 and has been closely following the ongoing season of Bigg Boss OTT. Previously, he also took a dig at Vishal Pandey for his slapgate controversy. Sharing a post on Instagram, the former Bigg Boss winner had written, “Vishal’s team should post 1-second reel, I will get HIT too…”
Besides his remarks, Munawar Faruqui also left everyone shocked after he secretly tied the knot with makeup artist Mehzabeen Coatwala in Mumbai. Making it official, Munawar posted a carousel of photos on Instagram. It included a heartwarming photo of the comedian and his wife, Mehjabeen posing with their backs facing the camera.
Work-wise, Munawar is set to make his acting debut with a project titled First Copy. The teaser unveiled by the makers transports cinephiles back to 1999 when DVDs were a big trend and how people used to secure a “first copy” of the film on Thursdays before the official release.
