Hours after Natasa and their son Agastya departed Mumbai, the statement was released. The statement read, “After 4 years of being together, Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways.We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest for the both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family.”
They further added, “We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness. We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us the privacy during this difficult and sensitive time.”
Natasa and Hardik kept their comments switched off after posting the statements, but the internet managed to get its voice heard.
Similar to when she originally deleted Pandya from her surname on Instagram, Natasa received a fresh wave of hate on social media as soon as the declaration was made public. While one user wrote, “Hard to believe,” another commented, “Itne acche insaan ko pehchan nhi paayi.”
Another netizen wrote, “He’ll find someone better.” A user wrote, “Leave her sir u deserve much better than her.” Many misogynistic remarks also began to speculate about Natasa’s expected divorce settlement, with one individual posting, “Kitni property le ja rhi hardik bhaiya ye?.”
Hardik and Natasa first met in early 2019. On January 1, 2020, Hardik and Natasa got engaged during a romantic yacht trip in Dubai. Shortly after their engagement, the couple had an intimate wedding ceremony, keeping the event private due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In July 2020, Hardik and Natasa welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Agastya.
