She is the daughter of veteran actress Neena Gupta. The couple shared a cute photo on Instagram to announce the birth of their child, but it was grandmother Neena Gupta’s introduction to her granddaughter, “Beti ki beti,” that went viral.
In a candid conversation with India Today Digital, the actress shared details about the newest addition to the family. She also mentioned that her grandchild has taken after her father, Satyadeep. When Neena was asked about the emotional journey of turning a grandmother and holding the little one for the first time. She shared, “Koi feeling nahi hai, abhi sirf responsibility hai. All we want is for Masaba to also get enough rest. I am there to ensure she gets her four-hour naps regularly. Everyone is involved in that right now, so it hasn’t really seeped in.”
Neena Gupta also revealed that the baby’s physical attributes are akin to those of her father Satyadeep. When asked to name one trait she wishes the child to share with Satyadeep and Masaba, the actress responded, “Sattu is absolute zen, he is so calm and tranquil. He is just amazing. On the other hand, Masaba is fierce. I really want their daughter to have a balanced personality, with some elements borrowed from the both of them.”
